9 Days Egypt Wheelchair Accessible Trip to Cairo and Siwa Oasis

Following your first filling breakfast at the hotel, a representative from our company will meet you in the lobby to assist you with your Cairo day trips. Your first stop will be the fascinating tour of the Giza Pyramids, where you will be astounded by the size of these enormous structures built during the old kingdom of ancient Egypt's history by the greatest kings and rulers.

Enjoy your lunch in a good quality restaurant before being transferred to the Islamic Cairo trips district at Khan El Khalili to enjoy the best walking tours in Cairo and see the Egyptian local people very closely. The journey takes about 2.5 hours to complete, including a stop for a break.

You will begin your tour of Alexandria, the city that Alexander the Great founded in 332 B.C., at Pompey's Pillar. You will then be taken to the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, and finally you will drive along the coast to the Citadel of Qaitbay, which was constructed over the ruins of the ancient lighthouse Pharos of Alexandria, one of the ancient seven wonders of the world.

After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we will drive for about 7 hours to the stunning Siwa Oasis. En route, we will stop in the Alamein region to take El Alamein tours, starting with the Military Museum and the Commonwealth Alamein Cemetery of World War II to view army models and learn about the main battle that took place in Alamein during WWII. 

We will now move to the charming city of Marsa Matrouh to have our lunch meal at a delightful restaurant before continuing our tour to Siwa Oasis. Upon arrival, we will leave our baggage in the eco-lodge and transfer to one of the most pleasant natural hot water springs in Egypt to take a bath that will calm our muscles after a long day's drive. Back to the hotel and overnight.

Enjoy your breakfast of Egyptian cuisine in the Eco-Lodge before beginning your Siwa Oasis tours. While there, take time to explore the ruins of the Shali Fortress, where the ancient Siwan people sought refuge from the threat of raids from outsiders. After that, you will be taken to see the 26th-dynasty-era Temple of the Oracle in Aghurmi Village, as well as the Temple of Um Ubeyda and another temple honoring Amun Ra. You will also learn about the priceless Siwan heritage during your visit to the Siwa House Museum, and lunch will be served at one of the Oasis's lovely restaurants.

You will spend a leisurely afternoon at Cleopatra Spring, one of the most well-known hot springs in Siwa Oasis, which is thought to have been used by Queen Cleopatra, the last pharaoh. You will have a nice breakfast at the hotel before continuing your Siwa Oasis Desert Safari, your certified Egyptologist will take you in a 4x4 vehicle to explore to the Great Sand Sea. Before moving on to the lovely sand dunes and the fossilized corals from the Cambrian era, we will start our Egypt Desert Safari adventure by visiting the Mountain of the Dead and many of the tombs of the oasis' rulers. Then, we'll take you to one of the amazing locations in the Great Sand Sea, a stunning lake in the middle of the desert, where you might be lucky enough to see flamingo birds appreciating the tranquility of the desert and bathing in a very calming mood.

After passing by the Dakrour Mountain, we will now enjoy sandboarding, which gives us the thrill of gliding down sand dunes rather than snow. After snowboarding, it is time to wash up in the hot spring known as Bir Wahid to relax our muscles. We will then take in another breathtaking sunset at the end of the Great Sand Sea Tour while drinking Bedouin tea in the middle of the dunes.

Early in the morning, before departing from Siwa Oasis via Marsa Matrouh for Cairo, you will have your breakfast box. You will be taken to your hotel for the night in Cairo after arrival.
